(NES) was founded in 2013 to resolve a common predicament in the design phase of project development.  NES's founding owners frequently witnessed that high quality engineering design is often not coupled with strong project management.  The founding principle in the creation of NES was that fair engineering design is not enough in a project world of multiple review agencies and stakeholders.  Effective design management for a project ensures a clear understanding of all aspects of the project. Through that, concerns can be addressed and resolution can come by means of exceptional design.  We provide our clientele with the highest degree of quality and professionalism in the engineering, design, management, and construction oversight of civil and hydroelectric projects located in the Northwest.  Our products and services are delivered in a timely manner and within budget.

NES has chosen to maintain in-house staff with expertise in project management, civil engineering, electrical engineering, drafting, surveying, construction quality control & support, and compliance with federal, state and local permitting requirements.  When specialized design services are required for the success of a project, NES will subcontract and manage the specialized design firms into a collaborated design that fully resolves concerns and provides the most beneficial product for the owner.

Communication is a fundamental instrument in the understanding and resolution of concerns that arise.  Our project managers work hard to understand the concerns of our clients encountered during both the design phase and construction support.  NES appreciates that written and verbal communication is vital in this effort.  We also use the latest in 3-diminsional modeling, both physical and computer modeling, to communicate complex design concepts and construction hurdles.
