Implementation of an Arc Flash Hazard Safety Program


This course is intended for managers, supervisors, and safety professionals. It is designed to provide guidance on the requirements of an arc flash hazard safety (AFHS) program and the steps to implement the program in the workplace. It may be tailored to individual companies to incorporate their safety program(s) and any rules from the specific authority having jurisdiction.

This course is intended for people that directly perform electrical work tasks.  It is designed to provide an in-depth understanding of electrical safety, including arc flash hazards, to be able to recognize and avoid the hazards involved using safety related work practices and procedural requirements.  It may be tailored to individual companies to incorporate their safety program(s) and coordinated with the authority having jurisdiction.

Electrical Safety Awareness Training, Including Arc Flash Hazards, for Affected Personnel


While anyone, both qualified and unqualified could attend, this course is intended for people that do not directly perform electrical work tasks.  It is designed to provide a general understanding of electrical safety, including arc flash hazards, and provide awareness of the potential electrical hazards to employees who work in an environment with the presence of electrical hazards.  It may be tailored to individual companies to incorporate their safety program(s).
