This course is intended for managers, supervisors, and safety professionals. It is designed to provide guidance on the requirements of an arc flash hazard safety (AFHS) program and the steps to implement the program in the workplace. It is designed to provide a general understanding of electrical safety, including arc flash hazards, and provide awareness of the potential electrical hazards to employees who work in an environment with the presence of electrical hazards. It may be tailored to individual companies to incorporate their safety program(s).
