Dorena Lake Dam Hydroelectric Project
NES founding employees have worked to support the licensing and construction efforts of this project. Work included interaction with stakeholders (federal, state & local agencies and non-government organizations), conceptual design, design support, license compliance during the construction phase, and temporary quality control managers.

Buffalo River Hydroelectric Project
NES employees completed the relicensing and reconstruction of this project. Scope of work included conceptual design, interaction with stakeholders (federal, state & local agencies and non-government organizations), construction support, and testing.

Wickiup Hydroelectric Project
NES employees worked on the licensing phase of this project. Scope of work included interaction with stakeholders (federal, state & local agencies and non-government organizations), and conceptual design. The conceptual design incorporated adding a new power generating feature onto the existing Wickiup Dam. The proposed major features in the conceptual design include: penstock, powerhouse, picket barrier tailrace screen, 7 MW Kaplan turbine/generator, and 9 miles power line.

Chester Hydroelectric Project
NES staff were involved in the licencing, design, and construction phases of this project. Duties included interaction with stakeholders (federal, state & local agencies and non-government organizations), and conceptual design. The conceptual design incorporated adding a new power generating feature onto the existing diversion dam. The proposed major features in the conceptual design include: a forebay, powerhouse, inflateable rubber dam, turbine/generator, and canal intake structures with fish screens.
